Furnishing styles: choose the one that’s right for you
Here is a brief overview of a number of furnishing styles… our advice is to choose the one that best represents you, the one you feel most at ease in.
Whatever your favourite furnishing stile is, it should be chosen on the basis of your personal taste, and should reappear, in a coherent manner, throughout the house: a primary style, to which contrasting style elements may be added, to give a greater touch of class and personality.
Of course, this rule should be applied also when furnishing the bathroom, the choice of which deserves special attention; the bathroom is the most intimate room in the house, reserved for personal care and hygiene, a private space, in which to regain your psychophysical wellbeing, in which to regenerate on waking in the morning, and to relax at the end of the day. A careful assessment of the spaces allows positioning all of the items that make up the bathroom in the best possible way, for a practical, functional and aesthetically pleasing result.
The style of the bathroom must be in line with the rest of the house, and all of the accessories and various complementary items should take up the same theme; and it is these latter items that add a distinctive, personal touch to the bathroom.
